Mr Sharma gave the first presentation from The Countess of Chester Hospital Plastic Surgery department at this International Biannual Meeting putting the hospital on the world map!
The World Society for Reconstructive Microsurgery is the main meeting for reconstructive microsurgeons from across the world. At this meeting leading Plastic and reconstructive microsurgeons discuss and present the latest techniques and developments from across the world.
Mr Sharma had a presentation accepted to discuss reestablishing a microsurgical breast reconstruction service in Chester. He was also invited faculty at this meeting and invited to cochair a session on microsurgical breast reconstruction.
